Tungamirai Eric Mupona, Zimbabwean Nationality, studied Applied Physics at Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (2017 – 2021). He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in International Affairs and Global Governance at Zhejiang University. During his study period at ZUST he got many academic achievements, co-authored two scientific journals and his grades always ranked amongst the top in the School of Science Faculty. In 2021, he graduated from ZUST with a B.Sc., a Bachelor's Degree with Honours, and an outstanding graduate title. During his study period here, he founded the Abroad Path Leaders (APL) International Public Social Welfare Platform, which mainly focuses on organizing youth exchanges, and sustainable-development-oriented activities. As an African youth representative, he has participated in several activities and international forums organized by Chinese government agencies and think tanks, such as the China Africa Young Leaders Forum, China Africa Youth Festival, China Africa Future Leaders Dialogue, Global Young Leaders Dialogue, China Africa Think Tanks Forum, etc. Whilst at ZUST, he once served as the International Student Union President (2019-2020). He once was awarded the “2022 Hangzhou Asian Games Manners and Etiquette Star” title, the 2020 National College Physics Experiment Competition (Innovation Competition) 3rd Prize, Chinese Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship, ZUST Student of the year, among several awards.
