On March 24th, the Awarding Ceremony for the Excellent Students of ZUST was held in the west library. After several rounds of strict selection, Gondo McCleary Ishmael from Zimbabwe stood out from ZUSTers and was awarded the top 10 Excellent Students of the Year 2021.

Gondo McCleary Ishmael, master student of MTCSOL, participated in LeiFeng team as a discipline delegate. When COVID-19 broke out, he actively served as a volunteer and worked in the dormitory to assist the school in epidemic prevention. Meanwhile he was awarded the Outstanding Volunteer of ZUST, Zhejiang provincial scholarship, the first prize of Chinese Classic Recitation Competition,social service scholarship,etc. He served as a host at the ZUST graduation ceremony in 2019 and delivered a speech on behalf of international students at the ZUST opening ceremony in 2019 and 2021.
