Dear students,

To promote the construction of accommodation, culture and atmosphere within our Campus, the School will organize a competition named Selecting Cozy Dorm of International Students. The aim of the competition is for students to establish a safe, beautiful, comfortable and disciplined living condition in their dorms. The winner(s) of the competition will receive a prize for the best room, based on the criteria below.

The competition is as follows:

1. Theme of the Competition: To create a safe campus, build harmonious culture and construct cozy dorms

2.Time of the Competition: The evaluation will take place on 10th and 11st December.

3.Content of the Competition:

A. Regulation - Obey dormitory regulations, care for the furniture and appliances and no use of forbidden appliances

B. Cleanliness - Clean indoor and outdoor areas, neat bedding and proper placement of goods

C. Characteristics - Beautiful dorm with distinctive decoration

4. Participants of the Competition: all dorms

5.The Evaluation Team: Staff from International Students Affairs Center (ISAC), staff from Accommodation Services Center and presidents of the International Students Union (ISU).

6.Procedures of Evaluation: After announcement has been released the competition will begin. The Evaluation consists of two rounds: spot check mark and scene check mark, each round being 50% of the final scores. Spot check will be on any day at the beginning of December. Scene check will be on 10th and 11st December. There will be 3 evaluation teams who will go separately to evaluate and give marks to every room in Donghe dorms (buildings 4 and 7) and Tingsong dorms. Finally the results will be gathered and winners will be selected for the Cozy Dorm of international students’ competition.

7. Awards of the Competition:

A. Certificate of Cozy Rooms and ¥300 for bonus.

B. Recommendation on Scholarship Selection at the end of this term.
