The Fourth Summer Camp of German Erfurd the Confucius Institute Ended in a Satisfactory Way

A few days ago, German Erfurt the Confucius institute ended in a satisfactory way in ZUST.19 students took part in the two-week summer camp activity and finished completing the course and had been back to their country.

This summer camp was subsidized by NOCFL& Confucius Institute Headquarters and held by German Erfurt the Confucius institute & ZUST. According to the requirements of NOCFL, this summer camp training activity adhered to the work idea---Language priority, Culture influence, Art edify. There were three parts of the curriculum setting, including the language course, the culture course and the culture investigation activities. Chinese language course, Tai Ji, Chinese food, Chinese tea, Chinese painting and calligraphy ware some culture experiencing courses. Some investigation activities included going sightseeing on the WestLake, Visiting the museum of Chinese tea and silk, and appreciating the Chinese painting and calligraphy. After the end of the Chinese language course, all of the students attended the HSK mock test in which 18 students passed the primary or secondary level. A large number of the students expressed their great satisfactions on the summer camp activities at the closing ceremony. And they also said they were deeply attracted by the beautiful scenery in Hang Zhou and its profound cultural atmosphere.

The Erfurt Confucius institute summer camp is a special project mainly toward the students of the Confucius institute who love Chinese culture. This summer camp pays attention to helping Chinese learners expend cultural vision, increase culture knowledge and improve Chinese language application ability in a short period of time. After the summer camp, students not only improved the level of Chinese, but also experienced Chinese long history, splendid culture and developing economy, which strengthened the friendship between Chinese and foreign students.
