On September 21st, the Confucius Institute of Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-napoca, Romania, which was undertaken by our university, was officially founded in Romania. The Chinese ambassador to Romania Liu Zengwen, former State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania Talia Yintotaol, the Chancellor of Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-napoca and former Minister of Education of Romania Andre Mug and the President of our University Du Wei attended the opening ceremony.
We believe that the newly-founded Confucius Institute will become a new platform for the Romanian people to understand China’s long history and splendid culture heritage. It will also become a new bridge for the communication between our two countries.
