Outstanding New Students of ZUST Scholarship Calls for Application

To finance outstanding students to pursue studies in Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST), we offer Outstanding New Students of ZUST Scholarship for undergraduate and graduate programs.

1.   Categories and values of scholarship

The first level covers 100% percent of the first year’s tuition fee, The second level covers 70% of the first year’s tuition fee,

The third level covers 50% of the first year’s tuition fee.

The fourth level covers 30% of the first year’s tuition fee.

2.   Time for application

Applicants for Outstanding New Students of ZUST Scholarship can apply only once a year. The application deadline is 30th, June. Please note that the scholarship is divided into  the  two  semesters  of the  first  academic  year, and scholarship  winners shall maintain good school performance and class attendance for the first semester so as to continue the rest half of the scholarship for the second semester.

3.   Application requirements

1) Basic requirements:

Applicant for bachelor’s degree program  should have obtained  senior high  school diploma or equivalent education, and be under the age of 30.

Applicant for master’s degree program should have obtained the bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and be under the age of 35.

2) Other requirements:

A.   Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health.

B.   Applicants  should comply with the laws and regulations in China, and comply with the rules and disciplines in the host university.

C.   Applicants for  Chinese-taught programs   should  have a   good  knowledge of  Chinese and provide proofs such as HSK certificates or other Chinese learning or  Chinese examination certificates. For those applying for courses taught in English, the standard might be lowered.

D.   Applicants should have a good academic record，which is among top of the class. E.   Applicants should NOT be awarded with other kinds of scholarships of all levels.

4.   Application documents (Application documents will NOT be returned)

1)   Application form for Outstanding New Students of ZUST Scholarship.

2) Notarized highest diploma and transcripts.

3) Copy of passport.

4) Health certificate.

5)   2 Recommendation letters from professors/assistant professors.

5.   Application procedures

1) Fill in application at http://isam.zust.edu.cn/for the major.

2) Contact us with your application ID, passport number, passport name and major. Wait for the admission results of major.
