Proud Moment:Indonesian Student Vanessa Aurelie from Our University Wins Grand Award in Provincial Competition

Recently, the results of the Zhejiang Provincial Education System Integrity Education Works Selection were officially announced. The work, Two Decades of Two Mountains, The Integrity Path in Zhejiang, created by Vanessa Aurelie from Indonesian stood out from numerous competing entries across the province and successfully won the Grand Award, adding another remarkable achievement to the university's international education outcomes.

The Work: Using Art as a Bridge, Illustrating Zhejiang's Answer to Integrity and Development

Presented in the form of a long-scroll poster, the work, Two Decades of Two Mountains, The Integrity Path in Zhejiang progresses layer by layer through three core themes, deeply integrates integrity culture with Zhejiang's development practices.

Integrity Nourishes People's Well-being: Focuses on Zhejiang's ecological protection and the improvement of people's livelihoods, using delicate imagery to showcase the livable life that clean governance has brought to the people behind the lucid waters and lush mountains.

Integrity Forges Prosperity: Depicts the development journey of Zhejiang's private economy, highlighting the supportive role of a clean business environment for corporate integrity and industrial upgrading.

Integrity Upholds Scientific Advancement: Centers on Zhejiang's scientific and technological innovation achievements, reflecting the clear and upright environment provided by integrity in conduct for scientific research breakthroughs and talent cultivation.

The work not only demonstrates solid artistic creativity but also reflects Vanessa Aurelie's profound understanding of China's Two Mountains Theory and integrity culture.

Education: Deepening National Conditions Education, Helping International Students Read China’s story

This award is no coincidence but rather a reflection of the university's long-term commitment to deepening national conditions education for international students. In recent years, centered on the goal of enabling international students to read China and integrate into China, ZUST has built a multi-dimensional education system:

Offering China Today series courses to systematically explain Chinese policies, cultural traditions, and development achievements.

Organizing Perceiving China practical courses, leading international students to visit Zhejiang's villages, enterprises, and research institutions to experience development practices firsthand.

Providing platforms for competitions and activities, encouraging international students to express their observations and thoughts on China through forms such as short videos, paintings, and writings competitions.

After receiving the award, Vanessa Aurelie stated: "Through this creation, I gained a deeper understanding of the importance of integrity for a country's development, and I also witnessed Zhejiang's two decades of struggle and change. In the future, I want to continue being a bridge for cultural exchange between China and Indonesia, sharing what I see and hear in China with more people."
