一、课程简介(包含课程性质、目的和任务)

ICourse Introduction (Including the Nature, Purpose and Mission of the Course)

本课程是所有本科留学生的必修课程,是一门旨在提升留学生对中国国情认知的社会实践课程,是中国国情教育课程《今日中国》理论课的外延。通过该课程学习,学生应提高对中国当代社会发展的认识,了解中国的城市变迁、智慧生活、现代科技、生活习俗、制度文化等方面,感知和体验中国社会发展的巨大成绩,客观认知今日中国以及中国人的生活。

As a compulsory course for all undergraduate international students, this course is a social practice course aimed at improving international students' cognition of China's national conditions, and is an extension of the theoretical course "China Today", a Chinese national condition education course. Through the study of this course, students should improve their understanding of China's contemporary social development, acquaint themselves with China's different aspects like urban change, smart life, modern technology ,living customs, institutional culture as well as perceive and experience the great achievements of China's social development, so as to understand China and the life of Chinese people today more objectively.

本课程主要通过带领学生考察中国互联网企业、新农村、特色社区等,实地参观了解中国在科技创新、乡村建设、制度创新等领域的发展与成绩,进而加深对当代中国的认知和理解,并将自己眼中真实的中国介绍给世界。课程结束后学生需完成书面或视频形式的社会实践报告。

This course focuses on leading students to investigate Chinese Internet enterprises, new rural areas and characteristic communities, etc., and to learn about China's development and achievements in areas such as technological innovation, rural construction and institutional innovation, thereby deepening their cognition and understanding ofcontemporary China and also introducing the real China in their own eyes to the world. At the end ofthe course, students are required to complete a social practice report in written or video form.

课程目标3:深入挖掘感知中国社会实践的思想教育资源,以强化课程教学中思想教育和价值引领为核心,以引导学生树立正确的“三观”为教育目标,将习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想、社会主义核心价值观、中国传统文化以及学校办学理念、校园文化、大学精神等内容有效融入课堂教学之中,使国际学生加深对中国的认识和理解、熟悉中国国情与文化、了解中国政治制度和发展道路、理解中国社会主流价值观和公共道德观念,形成良好的法治观念和道德意识,培养“知华、友华”的国际学生。

Explore the ideological and educational resources of social practice in China deeply with the core of strengthening the ideological education and value guidance in the curriculum as well as the educational goal of guiding students to establish the correct outlook on the world, life and values, to integrate The Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New era, Core Socialist Values, Chinese traditional culture and the school's educational philosophy, campus culture and university spirit into the course teaching, so that international students can deepen their knowledge and understanding of China, become familiar with Chinese national conditions and culture, understand China's political system and development path, comprehend the mainstream values of Chinese society and public moral concepts, form a good concept of the rule of law and moral consciousness, and cultivate international students who know and love China.

二、教学内容与基本要求

Ⅱ. Teaching Content and Basic Requirements

本课程具体的教学内容和要求如下。

1.Teaching Content

(1)社会实践动员与教育(2学时)

介绍社会实践的目的和安排,参观单位的基本情况,应该遵守的纪律规范和安全注意事项;介绍社会实践报告的书写规范及社会实践视频拍摄与制作的方法与技巧。

(1)Mobilization and education of social practice (2hours)

Introduce the purpose and arrangement of social practice, the basic information of the visiting departments as well as the discipline norms and safety precautions to be observed; Introduce the writing norms of social practice report and the methods and skills of shooting and making social practice video.

(2)参观考察现场(28学时)

了解考察单位创办时间、单位规模、组织结构等基本信息;了解考察单位主要业务领域,应用的相关技术等;了解考察单位部门或团队的工作机制以及运行成效。

(2)Site visit and inspection (28hours)

To understand the basic information such as the founding time, size and organizational structure of the inspection department; To understand the main business areas of the inspection department and the relevant technologies applied; To understand and inspect the working mechanism and operation effectiveness of the department.

(3)总结交流,撰写报告或制作视频(2hours)

参观返校结束后,能进行总结交流,按照要求规范撰写社会实践报告或制作社会实践汇报视频。

(1)教学重点

引导学生通过社会实践了解中国在科技创新、乡村建设、制度创新等领域的发展与成绩,进而加深对当代中国的认知和理解,并将所见所感撰写成实践报告或制作成视频,提升学生的中国能力,引导学生讲述中国故事。

Lead students to understand China's development and achievements in scientific and technological innovation, rural construction, institutional innovation and other fields through social practice with deepening their cognition and understanding of contemporary China, and write practical reports or make videos on what they see and feel, so as to improve students ’ China ability and tell stories of China.

由于留学生文化背景差异,对中国历史、文化、国情等的知识储备有限,在社会实践过程中对相关领域的认知和理解存在一定难度,要提前给学生介绍和补充考察领域相关的背景知识。

(2)Difficulties of Teaching

Due to the differences in cultural background, international students have limited knowledge like Chinese history, culture and national conditions. It is a little hard for them to recognize and understand relevant fields in social practice. Therefore, students should be introduced and supplemented with relevant background knowledge in advance.

3.教学方法:

社会实践动员与教育、现场考察与调研、总结交流、撰写报告或制作视频。

Mobilization and education of social practice, on-site investigation and research, summary and communication, report writing or video production.

4.学习要求:

根据社会实践的现场综合表现(包括认真程度、守纪情况、参观交流、了解单位信息等)和社会实践报告或视频的质量来要求。

社会实践报告或视频分析合理,有较强的分析能力和调查研究能力,对研究的问题有独到之处或有较深刻的分析;结构严谨,逻辑性强,论述层次清晰。

4. Requirements of Learning

Formulate the requirements of learning according to the comprehensive performance of on-site social practice (including seriousness, discipline, visit and exchange, understanding of department, etc.) and the quality of social practice reportor video.

Social practice report /video should have reasonable analysis, and students should have unique or profound analysis of research problems with reflecting their strong analytical ability and research ability. At the same time, the report/video is well structured, logical and clear.

结合课程特点、学生特点和教学方法,将课程思政融入到《感知中国》社会实践课程教学中。通过社会实践、引导学生体验中国的数字经济、科技创新、乡村振兴、绿色生态以及社区管理等,对国际学生开展中国国情教育,讲好当代中国的发展情况,传递最真实、最全面、最生动的中国形象,聚焦当代中国日新月异的最新发展状况和全新风貌,带领国际学生了解他们最感兴趣的现代中国标志,如5G技术、高速铁路、电子商务、支付宝等,让他们感知和体验当代中国社会的巨大发展成就,客观认知今日中国以及中国人的生活,丰富在华留学生活,并为进一步理解中国国情打下基础。在课程报告交流中,将价值导向与知识传授相融合,明确课程思政教学目标,弘扬社会主义核心价值观。通过实践报告交流,引导国际学生认识中国特色发展道路,理解习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想,了解中国共产党治国理政的故事和中国人民奋斗圆梦的故事。结合国际学生的特点,在实践教学中培养学生跨文化交流意识和国际视野,加深国际学生对中国特色发展道路和当代中国价值观的理解和认同,做到知华、友华、爱华。

Combined with the characteristics of the curriculum, the characteristics of students and teaching methods, the ideological and political objectives are integrated into the teaching of social practice course —— "Experience China". Through social practice and the guidance on theexperiences of China's digital economy, science and technology innovation rural revitalization, green ecology and community management and other aspects to the international students ,

China's national conditions, which will help them to speak well of the development of contemporary China, to convey the most realistic, comprehensive and vivid image of China, to focus on the latest development and new features of contemporary China as well as to learn about the symbols of modern China that interest them most, such as 5G technology, high-speed railway, e-commerce, Alipay, etc. In this way, they can perceive and experience the great development achievements of contemporary Chinese society, understand today's China and the life of Chinese people more objectively, enrich their study life in China, and lay a foundation for further understanding of China's national conditions. In the communication of course reports, value orientation is integrated with knowledge-transference with clarifying the ideological and political objectives of the course and to promote the Core Socialist Values. Due to the communication of social practice reports, international students can get to know the development path with Chinese characteristics, understand The Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New era, and understand the stories of governance by the Communist Party of China and the stories of the Chinese people's struggle to realize their dreams. In combination with the characteristics of international students, the course will train students' awareness of cross-cultural communication and international vision in practical teaching, deepen their understanding and recognition of the development path with Chinese characteristics and contemporary Chinese values with the result of achieving the knowledge, friendship and love of China.

课程考核成绩采用百分制,课程成绩由出勤、社会实践情况和社会实践报告三部分组合而成。各部分所占比例如下:

(1)社会实践情况占30%,主要根据社会实践的现场综合表现(包括学习态度、守纪情况、参观交流、了解信息等)、团队交流情况、课堂讨论时的沟通和表达能力进行考核。

(2)平时作业占20%,主要考核每次实践自媒体平台发布情况。

(3)社会实践报告占50%,包括自主学习能力、利用现代工具获取所需信息和综合整理能力。

社会实践现场情况评分标准:每一项以100分计,总评后折算成30分。

The result of course assessment is based on a percentage system, and the course result is a combination of three parts——the attendance ,the on-site social practice and the social practice report. The proportion of each part is as follows.

(1)Social practice accounts for 30%, mainly based on the comprehensive performance of on-site social practice (including attitudes, discipline, participation in visiting and communication and understanding of the visiting department, etc.), team communication, ability of expression and presentation in class discussion.

(2)Assignments account for 20%,mainly assessing the performance of self-media platform release of each practice.

(3)Social practice reports account for 50%, including the ability of independent learning, using modern tools to obtain needed information and comprehensive sorting.

Grading standard of on-site social practice——each item is counted as 100 points, and the total evaluation will be converted into 30 points.
